I haven't been able to find general Windows USB drivers to reinstall.I'm no expert so I couldn't delve too deeply into why these "Necessary support Files" could not be found, or even what they are. If the Wacom tablet driver not found happens on Windows 10, 8, 7, direct to this thread to solve the error for Wacom CTL4100, PTH660 or other Wacom tablets.
A SUPPORTED TABLET WAS NOT FOUND SIMULATOR
Note that the dialogue box pops up when it calls for the XP Critical Stop sound file.(70k gif image) 've already reinstalled flight simulator from the disks, with and without the FS9.1 update, I've reinstalled Direct X 9.0c, I've checked the device manager and all HID based devices and their drivers and everything is set and working correctly. Then I used file monitor to watch as I clicked Calibrate Joystick. This first image shows what FS9 is calling when I click Calibrate Joystick.(70k gif image) second image shows what FS9 is calling when I click Properties. I use (all USB) a CH yoke and MS Precision joystick and CH pedals, but they all work perfectly with all the other programs except FS2004.I checked the loading of flight simulator with File Monitor, a utility that shows what programs are referencing when loading, and I didn't find any missing dlls that would be a factor. When I access the joystick control panel outside of FS9 and click properties, it gives me the normal page with no errors.I run Windows XP, FS2002, X-Plane, Fly II and FS2004. I've tried it with one device only, same results. I've tried the other device with the same results. When I click on Properties, however, I received this popup message "Internal Error! Necessary support files not found." I click ok and return to the joystick control panel.

It opens the Joystick control panel showing my two devices plugged in. Clicking cancel and going back to the controls, I click Calibrate Joystick. Upon clicking assignments, there is no joystick tab like there used to be with FS9. Before I had this problem and replaced the account data, I had no problems with FS9's joysticks, everything worked fine. When starting FS9, going to settings and controls, I click the check box to enable joystick. All programs and settings are now back to normal and work fine. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.I recently had a problem with display drivers and accounts requiring me to replace the settings file for my 'Owner' account. Hi,I post here after searching the Internet and racking my brain trying to figure out why in the world joysticks stopped working with FS9.
